Delete your data

Last updated: 19th June, 2026

Student Notebook stores most of your notebook on your phone. Cloud backup is optional. Choose the option that matches what you want to remove.

Delete items inside the app

You can remove individual courses, notes, assignments, and flashcard decks from within the app at any time.

  1. Open the course, note, assignment, or deck you want to remove.
  2. Use the delete or trash option on that screen and confirm.

If you use cloud backup, deletions sync to your account on the next sync.

Remove all data on this phone

Uninstall the app to remove local notebook data on that device. On Android, long-press the app icon → App info → Uninstall (or drag to Uninstall).

To clear data without uninstalling:

  1. Open Android Settings → Apps → Student Notebook.
  2. Tap Storage → Clear data (wording may vary by device).

This removes courses, notes, assignments, and flashcards stored only on that phone. It does not delete cloud backup if you previously synced with an account.

Delete cloud backup and your account

To permanently remove your sign-in and all notebook data stored in cloud backup, delete your account. See our delete account instructions.

Local data on a phone is not removed when you delete your account. Uninstall the app or clear app storage on each device if you want that data gone too.
